WOW

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

So I guess I forgot I had a blog. I apologize to all three of you that have been following my blog. I guess having a job again and being busy getting ready for XDL L.A. I forgot all of my Journalistic duties. But I am going to make sure I get Thomas to fix the app for Word Press so that I can do some blogs while I am out in L.A.

So unfortunatly that is all I have for you today. I have to get back to Facebook so that I can finish the next Up and Comers article for Stuntride Magazine! Stay tuned kiddies!!

Thanks,
Tice

What a step back!!

Monday, June 7th, 2010

Holy Crap I just found my girlfriend Kirstin a Honda 50 and I am sucked right back into the 50 world. I thought I had escaped this miserable world but as it turns out I have warped right back into 2005. Don’t get me wrong but I am petrified of the money traps that are now sharing space in my garage with cockroaches.

I hope these things don’t become the end of me but we will have to see what happens. Now I hope none of you laugh at me as I build these little guys and start attacking the lots and streets!!

I promised myself I would never buy a kids bike again but here I am…..

Teach McNeil and Joe Vertical Radio Interview

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

This is a pretty sick little interview that was taken prior to the 3rd round stop of XDL Nashville. Zigz from 102.9 the Buzz got Factory BMW rider Chris “Teach” Mcneil and Factory Aprilia rider Joe Dryden on the air to talk about the upcoming event. Check this interview out and show some support for these 2 factory riders.

Make sure to check these 2 factory riders at XDL in the Battle of the Brands event at the 2 remaining XDL events!

Nashville Luke Duke

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

Luke Duke showed up in Nashville and crushed it. Riding as fast as his dinosaur F4i would take him he rolled into the finals full steam ahead. There was only one thing between Luke and the Win. And it wasn’t an other rider, it was a FMF banner from one of the event walls. Luke doing one of his patented wall park burnouts ripped the banner and wrapped it around his tire. After he got off the wall he accelerated down the track and into a stoppie 180, he was unable to clutch up into sit-downs because the banner was causing the tire to spin. The whole scenario was actually quite funny to everyone but Luke.

Under the new XDL mechanical failure rules he was able to go back to the pits and unwind the banner and come back out and restart his run. Luke came out and rode real well and finished off the weekend in 4th place.

I am trying to track down some video so as Soon as I can get a link to it or someone emails it to me I will get it posted up!!

Thanks,
Tice

XDL Nashville Bill Dixon

Friday, May 21st, 2010

When Bill D. arrived in Nashville in his head he had already won the FMF cup. Now he just needed to convince the 3 judges and the fans. He wasted no time dominating the FMF Cup and the sickest trick contest. From 80+ mph no handers, Giant 270 stoppies and 12 oclock switchback wheelies he showed trick after trick to why he is the rider to beat again this year.

The most impressive moment for myself and a handful of riders was Bill’s Sickest trick attempt. Most of us were in so much awe of his approach that we didn’t even watch or see the stoppie that followed. I know that sounds crazy, but he had to come through the hot pits and the rider hospitality area to enter the riding area. Now it still doesn’t seem that impressive but did I mention that the only way to get on to the competition area was through a 15ft wide Red Bull arch with Jersey barriers on each side. Still not impressed? How about his speed was over 60 mph , sitting backwards, through a hole 15ft wide in the in the pitch dark. And not to mention he never looked over his shoulder, only backwards at where he was coming from. He was traveling so fast that the Arch would wave from the wind of him and his motorcycle.

Maybe on paper this doesn’t sound so impressive but for those of us who witnessed it it blew our minds.

Thanks again Bill for reminding me that sometimes we as stuntriders are in fact cool and daring fellows!!!

Thanks,
Tice

XDL Nashville

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

There’s so much to say about XDL Nashville, and if you weren’t there then i feel bad for you. Continuing the trend of Awesomeness, Nashville was right on par. I am not sure if it is the cameras filming for the XDL behind the scenes show that will air on Verus TV or the 30+ competitors trying to make sure Bill D. is the first 2 time champion, but the level of competition is at an all time high. More riders are crashing hard and pushing harder and harder than their bodies and machines can handle. Since this is my first blog since XDL and I can’t get word press to work on my phone (if you know anything about word press and the Droid app please email me at ESADTice@yahoo.com) I am going to keep this short and sweet. I will however be posting all week long with all the Cool info you will not receive any where else.

Here are the topics that we will be covering for the rest of the week.

Teach rides the hardest and crashes the hardest.

Bill D. is even more insane than you and Youtube thought.

Who the F*%K is Randy Calicoat?

Why did Luke Duke do a burnout on a banner?

Will the Death Squad ever give Shin a Solid working bike ever again?

What really happened in the infamous riders meeting?

That’s about all I can think about at this time, more things will come to me, and I seriously think I am going to have to fire my fashion consult after this weekend.

Good night to all and stay tuned to the first person account of Nashville XDL

Thanks,
Tice
