This last week and a half was a blast to say the least! I had never thought that much of Utah untill I spent some good time there. The trip was deffiantly to short! At Miller you can Go Kart, Supermoto, Arena Cross, Motocross, Ride the Freestyle bike and not to mention Road Race! The Larry H. Miller Superbike Invotational is the biggest race that IU have participated in this year and possibly ever. The guys at UTAH SBA did a great job making sure that things rolled smoothly and they did!
I decided to race both the GTU (600) and GTO (1000) race on my R6. Was that the best of ideas? Probably not but I got alot of track time and learned a ton about the racing in general. From Qualifying to Warm ups to Racing the riders where fierce! At the beginning of the weekend there where 46 bikes in the GTU and 48 in the GTO so the grids where nothing but full.
To keep it short I thought that I road awesome! I got 10th in the GTU and 23rd in the GTO. I learned a ton and met alot of new people.
Full story will be in this weeks blog!
I cant wait to Miller Next year!!!

The Midwest usually bring pretty beautiful spring and supper weather but when you get down to the Heartland area sometimes wind is not the best of conditions. Canopies breaking and blowing papers abroad but that didn’t change how awesome the track was! It was a weekend of ups and downs for me but it ended positive. I was dealing with a lot of ECU problems that I have never encountered before but after the struggle I did rather well. I had some mulligans but I also got a 3rd in the GTO and a 3rd in ASRA Pro Sportbike. Felt good, Felt fast, Felt strong… I cant wait till Miller!!!
With the 450 burning rubber on Sunday and the R6 about the get its throttle cables stretched this upcoming weekend I was in need to get some weekday freestyle action. Wednesday was prime and I was feeling the need for speed. I went out to the local lot and ripped it up with some buddies for a solid evening and here are a few pictures from the Redrum session.
Sunday…Sundayyyy…Sundayyyyy!!! This Weekend I thought I was going to be lucky and not have any events. This proved to be wrong when I found out that there was a local supermoto event (mnsupermoto.com) that was being held that weekend. I was more than stoked to turn and burn so I packed the van with the 450,riding gear and the cooler and made a low key weekend out of it. It was pretty sick to say the least. I am not necessarily a dirt demon but I was getting a good hang of it The results where not great because I ended up getting a little ahead of my self and taking a few dirt naps throughout the day but all siad and done I placed 2nd in 450A and 5th on OpenA. Weekend full of fun and Off to Race the R6 at Topeka the next!
